I was comforted by a picture of Michael Jackson.
This was the only picture in the entire jail cell.

When the doors locked I would take the picture and
hold it next to me.

If he has ever (which he has, and everyone in the world that's ever heard of Michael Jackson knows this as true) wanted to change atleast one (1) person's life through
his ideals, music, productions, and his every being - this legacy has been accomplished.

Here's the deal.

My sister, when I was a little girl had posters of you all over
her room.

I just kinda noticed'em and that's it.
For my 15th birthday my brother gave me a cassette tape of Dangerous.
I listened to it maybe two or three times.

I'm now 28 years of age, and never even noticed you or your music in such a manner
as I have now until recently.

I have never been, am not really (or thought I could never be a fan), or will never be a fan. So I thought.

I believe now, Michael Jackson's music has completely touched me in a way I will never have the capability of explaining. I cannot do justice in a little description of how meaningful and truthfilled and awesome this man's music is.

Some people sing about nothing, just entertainment.
This man has built a legacy effortlessly, just expressing the compassion
from his heart.

I've never been so captured by a man.
I'm muslim and always lower my gaze, however this is not idoltry.

This is pure fascination, engulfed by extravagant inspiration of truth, dignity,
courageousness, love for humanity and this scares me.

Jesus Christ! Ya Allah! My God!

Okay, on another note. I was actually so lonely as well as inspired by fear, seeking justice, seeking love, and soul searching and Michaels song's began coming to mind.

Songs about injustice, qualities of life and love, truth and humanity. Last but never least, FAITH.

He inspired in me, just as smoothly as water runs from a faucet or ice-cream melts from a cone in the sunshine (3) Three songs.

After I was done, I went completely blank.

It's almost as though as a medium, his spirit was reaching out to me. Feeling my pain, my horror.

I don't even know the word to his songs, however they just came to me.

Then weirdly enough, I had I dream. My mother paid a visit to my dream and was cooking for a wedding.

Hmmm.

She spoke a recipe to me. It was called :

Cucumber Lamb Salad (or something like that)


Lamb Steaks
Cherry Tomatoes(thickly sliced)
Cilantro
Large Cucumbers
Some kind of thick sauce
Spices.

Must have been an appetizer.

Anyway, I will never forget what this man has contributed to society.
