Dole: Notify Marines of Toxic Exposure

Military officials should directly inform hundreds of thousands of Marine families and workers that they drank and washed in toxin-contaminated water at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina, Sen. Elizabeth Dole said Wednesday.
Dole, R-N.C., wants to force the secretary of the Navy to locate and notify Marines and civilians who were exposed to the water up until the mid-1980s when the base shut down contaminated wells.
In a new twist, Marine officials raised the prospect Wednesday that the same contaminants may endanger residents in the form of vapors that can be inhaled. The base is testing to see if vapors are seeping through soil into homes and buildings from a groundwater plume.

Officials said the drinking water has been safe for many years. Previous monitoring from the Environmental Protection Agency showed the underground plume was "no where near any of the buildings or residential areas," according to Maj. Nat Fahy, the base spokesman.
However, the base and EPA recently began testing when health investigators from the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry reported that their new water model showed the plume had migrated beneath homes and a school as far back as the 1960s. The model only went up to 1994 and contained some inherent uncertainties, according to agency investigators, who are studying health effects from the past contaminated water. Some hazardous clean-up work also has occurred since then.

"We're not saying there's a problem. We're saying there's a potential problem and we're happy the Marines are going in there and sampling," said Frank Bove, a senior epidemiologist at the health agency.
"We want residents to know that this latest information on the groundwater has no effect on their actual water supply which comes from an entirely different source," said Fahy.
Base officials hand-carried letters Wednesday to 900 homes in the base's Tarawa Terrace neighborhood, disclosing the testing. A small portion of those homes may be affected, Fahy said. Ventilation systems could be installed if danger is found, he said.
Dole's notification requirement was in an amendment she offered Wednesday to a broad military money bill before the legislation was pulled from the floor in a showdown over Iraq. The larger bill may be back as soon as September.
Government health officials have estimated that as many as 1 million people may have been exposed during three decades of water contamination going back to 1957, a situation examined in a recent Associated Press investigation. The numbers include Marines in barracks and military families living on the sprawling Atlantic training and deployment base, and civilians who worked there.
"We cannot correct a past mistake by pretending that this contamination did not take place, and we cannot avoid the hard and unpleasant facts associated with this tragic situation," said Dole.
Her measure also aims to help answer questions about health effects by having those exposed give government health investigators information on their illnesses.
Declining to comment specifically on Dole's proposal, spokeswoman Capt. Amy Malugani said the Marines "continue to work closely" with Dole and other lawmakers on the issue.
The Corps is seeking "ways to improve and enhance our communications and notification processes," she said. The base in 1985 told residents about "minute, trace amounts" of contamination, when some levels had reached more than 200 times today's safe drinking water standards.
The groundwater contamination stemmed from industrial activity and hazardous waste on the base and from a neighboring dry cleaner. Trichloroethylene and tetrachloroethylene, solvents used for degreasing and dry cleaning, and other toxic chemicals were identified in water sampling that eventually led to the well closures. Studies have linked the chemicals to leukemia, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, birth defects and several other cancers.
Dole's amendment differs from an earlier measure that allows the military to reach out through the media rather than directly notifying those exposed, and requires notification only after completion of a government health study.
Dole's new measure would require notification to begin shortly after the bill's passage.
"Enough is enough," Dole said. "Our Marines and their families must be notified of what has happened."

This is why I will calmly continue to capitalize on everything they persistently attempt to do.

It appears through research that 75% of elementary aged children participating in programs such as this one, is later targeted and recruited, approached, or pressured into affiliating themselves or having exposure to drugs.
Some children are force-fed by slumlords who operate drug infested clusters in many neighborhoods.
The dope circulates within the buildings, causing innocent children, pregnant women, infants, as well as elderly and terminally ill patients to become exposed to health risking conditions.
Children go to school confused, high, thwarted, and may run wild like loose canons.
After children are exposed and pregnant women or other humans exposed in such a force-feeding situation they are HIGH WITHOUT EVEN KNOWING THEY ARE HIGH.
If individuals are HIGH WITHOUT EVEN KNOWING THEY ARE HIGH, they go to elementary school having sulked up the dope for 24 HOURS, 7 DAYS PER WEEK, 365 DAY OUT OF THE SCHOOL YEAR.
Their grades are lowered, they cannot think, they run rampid throughout the streets, getting hit by cars, not listening or responding to parents, and suffer severe migraine headaches.
If heroin is the dope circulating throughout the buildings, severe side effects will occur in babies within the building, thwarting their development and growth before gaining enough time or opportunity to earn knowledge and experience life.
There are so many of these SLUMLORD BUILDINGS, that PRO BONO AGENCIES may FILE CLASS ACTION LAW SUITS TO SUE FOR BILLIONS for the suffering caused and time taken away from their families, educational, psychological, and physical potential.

I just realized something. I was reading a book. The words Lullaby & Milky Way kept being emphasized.
This has been for several days. I ignored it.
This time I didn't.

Then the word FIREFIGHTER kept popping up.

INVASION OF PRIVACY* Ultimatum?? That's not right
Invasion of privacy may include - coercing, giving altematums, forcing someone, their loved ones, their families, their friends, their children to expose things that are very private, special, intimate, etc. for the mere purpose of satisfying any idiot who may have initiated
the entire ordeal in the first place. Some sicko who had a desired conclusion in mind.

Putting at risk innocent people by exploitation and exposure to weirdos, stalkers, or jealous people who may have crushes on others, again weirdos, etc.

Regardless of failures in business, religious practices, career, education, family relationships, people are human and make mistakes.
Just like a particular Real Estate GURU from America, failure equals opportunity, which equals wisdom, and from wisdom a higher level of success may be accomplished with FAITH, IMAN.
Therefore, moving forward takes patience of all parties as well as sustenance in order to actually conclude with good faith or good will resolutions.

People hate to see certain people succeed.

I was reading a book, working.
A dog barked, I flipped the page in my book and the word DOG was there.

I felt an extreme whisp of radiation like heat wave pass through my body, resulting in a very painful migraine.
I flipped the page and the word, TCDD appeared.
THe word or acronym TCDD stands for the following:

Hi, how are you. I apologize it's taken so long to get back to you. You are so patient. I was occupied with work. Lot's of it. I blog while working as
-well. Here are the pictures I promissed you. I'll put the entire portfolio together tonight if I'm not nauseated again. Thanks. I will definately try to get my health up to par. I just purchased some food, and it taste like some sort of fungaside or something was in it. Now I'm a bit dizzy.

So, you mean to tell me after soldiers return to their spouses and little children suffering from the above symptoms, they are safe to be around little toddlers?

Now, if you're smart you would wait for the ship to come in and have the spouses and children waiting to greet them with open arms.

No wonder some of the soldiers are converting to Islam when they come home. After fighting against the 'enemy', they come back to nagging.

"They forgot to bring them."
Initially, visitation was refused due to the trauma this would cause the kids.
Now, an 'inside job' to help the course of the case has been executed.
Now, it seems, as documented on paper the mother ofcourse is a loser.
America is a free country for only certain people, not slaves.
In the documentation there was actually the words, "Brokerage" utilized when referring to the children and having them placed.
Like....slaves getting sold.
Of course in a more evolutionized manner. With evolutionized terminology. More appealing sugar-coated terminology.

The worker has been contacted many times on a daily basis, with requests for visitation...NO RESPONSE. only, "Well, when you come forward to complete services..." This can't just get brushed under the carpet.

The prayer carpet I take it.
I could feel the joy lingering out of the workers' aura.
Now I will proceed to tell you exactly what their course of action is. Or what they think it will be.

Megalomania
This is when a person fantasizes consistently about doing, being, having, or living like, with, as, or interactive of grandeur things.
Wow. Reminds me of Cartoon Network.
Your kids should not watch Cartoon Network.
Anyhow, what if people from an island who live off of the land and worship the earth believe this is complete Royalty? Hmmm...
When they step into say, a mansion in Hollywood or something...they feel completely disgusted.
Like man, you paid $28,000.00 for that fork! We catch our food and eat with sticks.
...and then, should the islander while at the mansion begin daydreaming about catching food with the hands and eating with sticks -- Are they suffering from Megalomania?
Ouch!
If you think about it, I was taught to eat with chopsticks at the age of 9 1/2. It takes great skill.
